Send order updates on WhatsApp without typing each one

VogueDesk connects your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform and sends clients automatic messages when an order is created, when it is ready, when it is delivered and when a payment is received. Every message is saved with its delivery and read status, and clients who reply STOP are opted out.

Why boutiques need WhatsApp automation

Your clients already live on WhatsApp. They message to ask if the blouse is ready, when the trial is, and how much is left to pay. Answering each one by hand eats hours, and in the wedding season some messages get missed. WhatsApp for boutiques in VogueDesk sends the routine updates for you, at the right moment, from your own business number.

Messages VogueDesk sends on its own

When this happensThe client gets
You create an orderA confirmation with the link to track her order
The order is marked readyA “your order is ready” message
The order is deliveredA delivery confirmation
A payment is recordedThe amount, invoice number and remaining balance
You need the delivery addressA link to pin her location on a map

The location request is handy for home delivery. The client taps the link, drops a pin on the map, and the address is saved on her profile, marked as set by the client. See delivery with Shiprocket and Porter.

Templates in your own words

Each message is a template with placeholders that fill in automatically, such as the client’s name, the order name, the order link, the delivery date and your boutique’s name. A ready message could read: “Namaste {client name}, your {order name} is ready for pickup at {boutique name}.”

Because of Meta’s rules, messages you start outside the 24-hour window must use templates that Meta has approved. Write them once, get them approved, and VogueDesk uses them every time.

Message history and opt-outs

Every message is saved against the client with its status, so you can see whether it was delivered and read. If a client replies STOP, she is opted out and VogueDesk stops sending her automatic messages. This keeps you on the right side of Meta’s policies and keeps clients happy.

How it works in VogueDesk

  1. Get a WhatsApp Business Platform account with Meta for your boutique number.
  2. Connect that number to VogueDesk from the settings.
  3. Write your message templates and submit them to Meta for approval.
  4. Switch on the automatic messages you want, and leave the rest off.
  5. Work as usual. Creating an order, marking it ready or recording a payment sends the message.

What to keep personal

Automation handles the routine updates, but some moments still deserve a real message from you: a bride’s final trial, an apology for a delay, or thanking a regular after Diwali. Because VogueDesk sends the predictable messages, you have more time for the personal ones. The message history on each client also shows you what she has already been told, so nobody sends the same update twice.

Who it is for

  • Boutiques getting many “Is it ready?” calls every day.
  • Home boutiques where the owner is also the karigar and cannot stop to reply.
  • Studios that deliver and need clients to share accurate locations.

WhatsApp works best with the order tracking page, because the order-created message carries its link. For tips on what to send and when, read our guide on WhatsApp order updates. Plans are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Do messages go from my number or from VogueDesk's number?

From your own WhatsApp Business number. You connect it through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), so clients see your boutique's name and number.

Can I turn off a message I do not want to send?

Yes. Each automatic message can be switched on or off, and you choose the template it uses. The delivery-location request, for example, can stay off until you start doing home deliveries.

Why do some messages need an approved template?

This is Meta's rule. If the client has not messaged you in the last 24 hours, a business can only start a conversation with a template Meta has approved. VogueDesk's automatic messages use templates for this reason.

What happens if a client does not want messages?

If a client replies STOP, VogueDesk marks them as opted out and stops sending them automatic messages.

Does Meta charge for these messages?

Meta may charge for business-initiated conversations under its own pricing, which is separate from your VogueDesk plan. Check Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform pricing for India.
