Loyalty

Reward the clients who keep coming back

VogueDesk runs a boutique loyalty program for you. Clients earn points when their invoices are paid, move up from bronze to silver, gold and platinum tiers as their spending grows, and can use points to pay future bills. You set how much a point is worth, when points expire and how many points a referral earns.

The VogueDesk loyalty screen showing clients with their points balance and loyalty tier.

Why a loyalty program works for boutiques

A boutique lives on its regulars. The client who gets her Diwali blouses, her daughter’s lehenga and her own anarkali stitched with you every year is worth far more than a one-time walk-in. A boutique loyalty program gives her a reason to stay, and gives you a polite way to say thank you that does not mean cutting your rates.

Most small shops never start one because tracking points on paper is a pain. In VogueDesk the points are worked out from your bills, so there is nothing to track by hand.

How points are earned and used

Points are linked to billing. When a client’s invoice is fully paid, VogueDesk adds points to her account automatically. Later, she can use those points as part of a payment, just like cash or UPI.

Most boutiques will want higher tier levels than the defaults. A bridal studio might set platinum at ₹2,00,000, while a neighbourhood ladies tailor might keep it low. You can also give bonus points by hand, for a birthday or to say sorry for a late delivery.

Tiers clients can feel proud of

Bronze, silver, gold and platinum give regulars something to aim for. You decide what each tier means in your shop: priority slots in the wedding season, free fall-pico, a free alteration or simply a warm welcome. VogueDesk tracks the tier; the perks are up to you.

Referrals

Word of mouth is how most boutiques grow. VogueDesk records which client referred which new client. When the new client pays, the referrer gets her bonus and the new client gets welcome points, so both have a reason to come back.

How it works in VogueDesk

  1. Open loyalty settings and set your point rate, point value, expiry and tier levels.
  2. Bill as usual. Points are added when invoices are fully paid.
  3. Record referrals when a client sends a friend.
  4. At billing time, let clients pay part of the bill with points.
  5. Check the loyalty screen for top clients and points expiring soon.

Who it is for

  • Boutiques with many repeat clients, such as neighbourhood ladies tailors.
  • Bridal studios that want brides to return for family functions.
  • New boutiques growing through referrals.

Loyalty works with the client profile in the boutique CRM and with billing. Plans are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How do clients earn points?

By default, points are added automatically when an invoice is fully paid, at 1 point for every ₹10 spent. You can change the rate, or turn off automatic awards and give points by hand.

How do clients use their points?

Points are redeemed as a payment method on an invoice. By default 1 point is worth ₹1, and you can change that.

Do points expire?

By default, points expire 12 months after they are earned. You can set a different number of months, or set it to never expire. VogueDesk shows points that are about to expire.

How do the tiers work?

Clients start at bronze and move to silver, gold and platinum based on their lifetime spend. You set the spend needed for each tier.

Can I reward clients who refer friends?

Yes. When a referred friend pays, the client who referred her gets bonus points and the friend gets welcome points. Both amounts are your choice.
