Bengaluru clients want answers without a phone call
A large share of Bengaluru boutique clients book in between office meetings, drop fabric on a Saturday and expect to know where their blouse is without phoning you. The boutique that makes this easy keeps the client. VogueDesk gives you three tools for exactly that.
1. Online booking. Share your booking page on Instagram or WhatsApp. Clients choose a trial or consultation slot, and it lands in your appointment list. Alterations are tracked separately as requested, in progress and completed.
2. A tracking link for every order. When you create an order, VogueDesk can WhatsApp the client a link to a public page showing its progress. See order tracking for customers.
3. A client portal. Clients sign in with a magic link sent to their phone or email, see every order, and upload the Pinterest screenshot or reference photo for the blouse back they want.
Silk from Chickpet, Mysore silk from KSIC
Bengaluru’s old wholesale silk area is Chickpet, with shops selling Mysore silk, Kanjeevaram and Banarasi weaves, while Commercial Street is better known for garments and accessories. Many clients will walk into your studio with a saree from one of these and ask for a matching blouse.
Mysore Silk itself is a registered Geographical Indication held by the government-owned Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC), according to a Lok Sabha answer. A good silk blouse depends on a good fit, and that starts with clean measurements.
Measurements that stay with the client
In VogueDesk each client can have several named measurement sets, such as “Silk blouse Oct 2026” and “Kurti 2026”, each dated. Fields include blouse length, upper chest, bust, waist, armhole, shoulder, cross front, cross back, sleeve length, sleeve round, neck front and back, dart point and more. You can set a preferred cutting master for each set.
If your old measurements are in Excel, save the sheet as CSV and the import tool maps the columns for you. Our blouse measurement chart explains each field.
Festival weeks and capacity
Dasara, Deepavali and the wedding months bring a run of silk-saree blouses all due on similar dates. Before you take another one, check VogueDesk’s capacity calendar. It counts your karigars and any outside embroidery or aari contractors, and suggests a realistic delivery date. The dashboard lists every delivery due in the next 30 days.
Kannada and English on WhatsApp
Connect your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta’s official platform. VogueDesk sends automatic messages when an order is created, ready, delivered and paid, plus a request for the delivery location. Choose the template language per message: Kannada for some clients, English for others, using your own approved wording. More on WhatsApp for boutiques.
Bills and payments
GST invoices carry your GSTIN, HSN codes and CGST plus SGST for Karnataka clients, or IGST for clients outside the state. Clients can pay by UPI, card, cash or a Razorpay link, and part-payments show up on the order list.

Can clients check their order status on their own?
Yes. Every order has a tracking link, and clients can also sign in to the client portal with a magic link to see all their orders and upload reference photos.
Can I write WhatsApp messages in Kannada?
Yes. Each automatic message uses a WhatsApp template approved by Meta in the language you choose, so you can keep Kannada and English versions.
