What people mean by “silai app”
“Silai” is the Hindi word for stitching. When someone searches for a silai app, or types “silai ka hisab app” or “silai naap app”, they usually want one of three things:
- Naap ka record. A place to save each customer’s measurements so the diary is not lost.
- Order ki list. Which suits and blouses are pending, and when each is due.
- Silai ka hisab. How much advance was taken, how much is baaki, and who has not paid.

Naap: measurements you will not lose
Each customer gets a profile with one or more measurement sets. Name each set, for example “Suit – Diwali 2026”, and it is saved with the date. There are about 30 fields:
- Upar ka naap (upper body): length, upper chest, bust, waist, shoulder, armhole, cross front, cross back, neck front and back, sleeve length and sleeve round, dart point, blouse length
- Neeche ka naap (lower body): low waist, hips, bottom length, waist-to-knee, thighs, knees, calf, ankle
- Lehenga and gown: full skirt length, belt round, gown length, petticoat length, yoke, slit

Silai ka hisab, done properly

Every order can hold several items: “2 blouse, 1 petticoat, 1 suit”. Each has its own description, and the order has a delivery date. The dashboard lists everything due in the next 30 days, which is a big help during the Diwali rush and shaadi season.
